Everyone is under pressure from society; most people are expected to be or accomplish certain things. However, it does not follow that such expectations are justified or that the pressure is actually required. Who knows, maybe we’re compelled to pursue objectives that don’t truly reflect who we are, or worse yet, maybe we end up losing who we really are in the process.
If that’s the case, perhaps we should take the opposite action. It’s crucial to constantly unlearn beliefs that are false and, in some circumstances, even destructive. As a result, we need to develop strategies for recovering from whatever damage that contemporary life may have done to us.

Because of this, it’s wonderful to have artists like Lainey Molnar who support others in doing just that. She is on a mission to highlight all of the good and bad aspects of what it means to be a woman in this day and age, and she does it in a way that is both true and beautiful. She examines in her comics the issues that contemporary independent women encounter on a daily basis, including femininity, double standards, social pressures, expectations, and several other issues.

These examples are fantastic since they don’t only contain criticism and negative content. She critiques, which is a necessary and challenging responsibility in and of itself, but she also advocates for mental health and body acceptance. She lovingly reminds us not to adhere to standards that don’t meet our natural needs and that we are all lovely and normal in our own unique ways. No habit is repulsive, and neither is height or size. You must first and foremost recognize that you are responsible for everything. It stinks to be them if the others can’t accept that.

Don’t give up, girls, even when it often feels like society’s demands and pressures on women are crushing you. Just keep in mind that pressure is what creates diamonds. They are a woman’s best friend as well. This could be the extra inspiration you’ve been looking for to go out and conquer the world. Women, continue on!
