Birds’ world is incredible! Humans can be mesmerized by the plumage of many stunningly attractive birds. They’re far too good to be true. Some folks think they’re straight out of a fairy tale. Their coat appears to be a typical tone of hue. However, the solution may astound them. These beautiful flying animals may be seen in nature. The idea is that you haven’t had a chance to view them. Among these remarkable birds is the blue vanga. It has pristine white underparts and cornflower blue plumage. The sky blue tint of its bill makes it stand out. The margins of the wings and tail of this bird are similarly black.

Even though she wears the same blue coat as the male, the female has a distinct appearance. Her chest and belly are the first. They’re off-white with a hint of orange. The wings of this bird are likewise tinged with green.

The blue vanga, like other members of the Vangas genus, is found on Madagascar’s island. They also dwell on the island of Mohéli in Comoros.

Their breeding season runs from October through December. Female blue vangas build their nests at an altitude of 12 meters after finding partners. Made of twigs and a delicate down-like substance, this cup-shaped nest is placed in a fork or on slender branches.

The female then incubates and lays eggs in her nest. She feeds the hatchlings until they are completely fledged.
Insects, earthworms, millipedes, lizards, and amphibians are among the foods consumed by this bird. They consume fruit on occasion.

The blue vanga population is now steady, and it is listed as least concern on the IUCN Red List.
